Brandon Chiang has decades of experience in entrepreneurship, investment, and Internet-related business. He joined a healthcare startup and assisted the CFO with the fundraising and financial affairs at the beginning of his career. Later on, he joined TWM (Taiwan Mobile) and was in charge of KPI and incentive management for marketing and sales departments. After that, he was transferred to myfone, the EC department of TWM, as a business analyst. Later on, he joined Foxconn’s healthcare subgroup to start an internet+healthcare business from scratch.

In 2015, Brandon joined AppWorks Ventures and jumped into the VC world. He was in charge of platform economy-related startups and SEA market development. His notable investments and post-management deals are Lalamove, EZTABLE, Shopback, and Carousell. He has helped Taiwan startups to expand to SEA. Vice versa, he also helped SEA startups to land on the Taiwan market.

With his experience in startups and big corporations, he can stand on the both sides of them and speak in the language that each side is familiar with. Brandon and TP together are trying to make Cornerstone Ventures a platform that connects startups and big corporations. And Cornerstone Ventures has been facilitating collaboration between startups and big corporations.

Brandon Chiang is a believer in Network Effect and Platform Economy, because this is the beauty and interesting part of internet business. He loves to brainstorm with startups’ founders and tries to find every possibility the startups can achieve.

This is Brandon’s favorite quote: “Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together, Have Fun.  -- Morgan Wootten”. He hopes to stand by it with the startup founders that Cornerstone Ventures invests in and builds a better ecosystem together.
